Our suppliers

We rely on a trusting partnership with established companies and family-run businesses from the region that share our values and sense of enjoyment – and have done so for many years. We are proud of our excellent network of regional suppliers who reliably provide us with premium quality products. Innovation and drive play just as important a role for us as social responsibility and sustainability.

Berchtesgadener Land

In addition to social responsibility, the fair milk price plays a particularly important role at Berchtesgadener Land. The award-winning dairy is organised as a cooperative and the farmers themselves are the owners. Great importance is given to animal welfare and local fodder without genetic engineering. And this high quality standard has a measurable effect: The organic pioneers are justifiably proud of the particularly high proportion of omega-3 fatty acids in the milk.

BEER FROM BAVARIA

We Bavarians have known what a good beer should taste like since the 15th century: Augustiner Bräu, Hacker-Pschorr and Franziskaner are the oldest breweries in the region. But the light, dark and wheat beers do not only taste good in the beer garden – you can also enjoy the traditional art of brewing in our hotel bar.

AUGUSTINER BREWERY

Tradition since 1328: the Augustiner brewery is the heart of Munich’s oldest beer brand. Whether pale, dark or noble – only what is made of water, hops, malt and yeast is bottled. The people of Munich love it.

FRANZISKANER Weißbier

Franziskaner wheat beer places great emphasis on quality and regionality: Hops and malt come from farming areas in Bavaria, the special top-fermenting yeast comes from our own breeding and the water from our own well.

HACKER-PSCHORR BREWERY

Bioteaque

Throughout the Alpine country, company founders Bernhard Koller and Armin Wagner work with small alpine farms that grow organic quality for them. The ingredients for their alpine herb teas are picked by hand, dried and delivered directly to Traunstein. Together with the herb farmers, the two keep developing new products from these ingredients, trying out which plants blend with each other and what is suitable for cultivation depending on the soil.

ZÖTTL BAKERY

Every day from 2 a.m. onwards, dough is kneaded and pretzels are shaped in the Zöttl bakery and patisserie before they later leave the bakery crispy on the outside and wonderfully fluffy on the inside. The ingredients are carefully selected and processed, the grain is freshly ground and the dough is shaped by hand. For generations, the family business has relied on honest quality, natural ingredients and masterful craftsmanship.

FALLER JAMS

Sustainability and regionality are of great importance to the Black Forest manufactory: a large part of the fruit for the high-quality jams is delivered from the neighbouring Markgräflerland or the Kaiserstuhl region. In order to preserve the flavour of the fruit in the best possible way, only small quantities of fully ripe fruit are stirred by hand in the open copper kettle – and this has been done for over 100 years.
