Which room categories does Hotel Metropol offer?
Hotel Metropol offers a range of room categories for different kinds of trip. Choose between Business, Comfort, Superior, Deluxe and our Suites. Whether you are here on business, for a city break or for a longer stay, all our rooms combine modern comfort with the warm atmosphere of our family-run hotel.
Which room suits my stay best?
That depends entirely on what you are looking for. Business rooms are ideal for business travellers and offer a quiet position overlooking the courtyard, a balcony and a seating area. Superior rooms also face the quiet courtyard. If you would like more space, choose a Deluxe room with a seating area and city views. For something special, we recommend our Suites with a separate living area, rain shower and Nespresso machine.
How do the room categories differ?
The rooms differ in size, position and facilities. Comfort rooms have a small balcony with city views. Business rooms additionally offer a seating area and a balcony in a quiet position overlooking the courtyard. Superior rooms are especially quiet, facing the courtyard. Deluxe rooms offer more space and a seating area with city views. Our Suites have a separate living area, a rain shower and a Nespresso machine for even greater comfort.
Are the rooms quiet?
Yes. If peace and quiet are particularly important to you, we recommend our Superior rooms, Business rooms or Suites, all of which face the quiet courtyard. This way you can enjoy a restful stay despite the central location close to Munich Central Station.

Yes. Every room at Hotel Metropol has air conditioning, keeping the temperature pleasant even on warm summer days. This ensures a high level of comfort whether you are here on business or for a city break in Munich.

Are there connecting rooms at the hotel?
No. Hotel Metropol does not have connecting rooms. If you are travelling with your family or in a small group, we will gladly advise you on choosing suitable room categories or on booking rooms close to one another. Simply get in touch before you arrive and we will find the best possible solution for your stay.
Do the rooms have a safe?
Yes. Every room has a safe in which you can store your valuables securely.
Is there a kettle or coffee machine in the room?
Our Coffee & Tea Bar is available to you free of charge around the clock, so you can take a coffee or tea up to your room at any time. Our Suites additionally have a Nespresso machine.
Is there a hairdryer in the room?
Yes. All rooms at Hotel Metropol are equipped with a hairdryer.
Can the beds be separated?
Unfortunately the beds in our rooms cannot be separated. We will gladly advise you on choosing the right room category for your stay.
How often is the room cleaned?
Your room is cleaned regularly during your stay. We change towels on request – helping us to save water and energy together.
Can I request extra pillows or fresh towels?
Of course. We will gladly bring extra pillows or fresh towels to your room. Simply let reception know.
