Check-in is possible from 3 pm. If you arrive in Munich earlier, we will gladly store your luggage free of charge. Subject to availability, you can also book an early check-in from 10 am for a supplement.

Yes. For an even more comfortable start to your stay, you can use our online check-in before you arrive. This saves you time when checking in at the hotel.

Please let us know in advance if you are arriving after 11 pm. Together we will arrange a suitable solution so that your arrival goes smoothly even late in the evening.

Standard check-out is until 11 am. On request and subject to availability, you can extend your stay with a late check-out until 3 pm.

Yes. We are happy to store your luggage free of charge both before check-in and after check-out. That way you can enjoy your arrival or departure day in Munich at your leisure.

From Munich Airport you can reach us easily on the S1 or S8 suburban train to the central station – from there it is only a few minutes’ walk. Alternatively, the Lufthansa Express Bus offers a direct connection to the central station. On request, our team will also be glad to arrange a transfer for you.

Yes. Hotel Metropol has its own car park. As the number of spaces is limited, we recommend reserving your parking space before you arrive.

Yes. The hotel lies within Munich’s low-emission zone. If you are travelling by car, you will need a valid green emissions sticker (Umweltplakette).

Yes. A charging point for electric vehicles is available at Hotel Metropol. As numbers are limited, please let us know briefly before you arrive.

Yes. As a guest of Hotel Metropol you can hire bicycles directly from us for your stay. This lets you discover Munich flexibly and independently on two wheels. We are also happy to recommend varied cycling routes and the finest sights along the way.

Thanks to Hotel Metropol’s central location close to Munich Central Station, you can reach the city centre, Marienplatz, the Theresienwiese as well as the Messe München exhibition centre and the airport quickly and easily by public transport or by car.

We will gladly take your room preferences into account wherever possible. Unfortunately, however, we cannot guarantee a specific room number.

Yes, families with children are very welcome. Our Comfort rooms accommodate two adults and one child. Do get in touch – we will find the right solution for your family stay.

Yes. We will gladly provide a cot or an extra bed for your stay. Please let us know your request when booking or before you arrive, if possible, so that we can have everything ready for your arrival.

We love animals – nevertheless, we are unfortunately unable to accommodate pets at Hotel Metropol. We thank you for your understanding.

Unfortunately Hotel Metropol is not fully accessible and is therefore only suitable to a limited extent for guests with reduced mobility. We will gladly advise you personally before you book and work out together which room category and which conditions best suit your individual requirements.

Yes. A lift takes you conveniently to all floors as well as to the breakfast area.

Yes. Hotel Metropol is an entirely non-smoking hotel. A designated smoking area is of course available in front of the building.

Yes. Complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout Hotel Metropol. You will receive the access details on arrival.

Of course. Our team is happy to help with booking taxis, recommending restaurants and reserving tables, as well as with many other requests relating to your stay.

Yes. Our Coffee & Tea Bar serves a range of coffee and tea specialities throughout the day. In addition, our 24/7 Maiers Minimarkt offers a selection of snacks, drinks and other items for the road or for a small hunger between meals.

Hotel Metropol does not have its own restaurant and therefore serves neither lunch nor dinner. We are happy to recommend suitable restaurants in the neighbourhood and to reserve a table for you. Light snacks are also available around the clock in our Maiers Minimarkt.

Yes. We will gladly arrange a laundry and dry-cleaning service for you. Simply speak to our reception team.

Yes. We are happy to wake you at the time you wish. Just let reception know when you would like your wake-up call.

Our reception is open for you daily from 6.30 am to 11 pm. Outside these hours you can reach us in an emergency around the clock by telephone on +49 (0)89 244 49 99-0.

Bookings made directly through our website can be amended or cancelled online in the reservation system at any time. The applicable cancellation conditions depend on the rate booked and are set out in your booking confirmation.

For your booking you can use Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Sofortüberweisung (instant bank transfer). On site you can also pay in cash or by the usual cards.

Yes. You will receive your invoice automatically by email at check-out, or printed out on request. If you need a company address on the invoice, please let us know before check-out.

Yes. Vouchers for a stay or for breakfast at Hotel Metropol can be purchased conveniently online or requested directly from our team.

Yes. From five rooms upwards we will gladly prepare an individual group quotation for you. Simply send us an email with your travel dates and the number of rooms required – we will get back to you promptly.

No. Munich does not currently levy a tourist tax or city tax. The price you see when booking is the price you pay.

A pharmacy, supermarket and cash machine are all within a few minutes’ walk of Hotel Metropol. Our reception team will gladly tell you the nearest current addresses and help with any other questions about the area.

Yes. During reception opening hours we are happy to print and copy for you – ideal for business travellers who need documents at short notice.

Yes. We will not leave you out in the rain: subject to availability, reception will gladly lend you an umbrella for your day in Munich.
